FOR THE LOVE of HATS!

It was wonderful to be in studio with one of Chicago's top milliners, Loreta Corsetti.  Her made-to-measure, detailed, hand-finished hats are extraordinary works of art.  Ms. Corsetti's vision for this photo shoot was absolute, as an artist and designer, superb quality and originality.  I was happy to set up the hair and makeup department for her while choosing classic glamour as the theme.

Photographer Jeremy Bustos captured all this vintage beauty through the lens and put the finishing touches on the layout for Ms. Corsetti's look book of hats. This was a great day to have forever via beautiful pictures and amazing video by HIGHWAY 61 FILMS.

What a thrill to work with public relations extraordinaire, Margie Korshak! Margie has collaborated with individuals such as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jordan, and Michelle Obama here in Chicago over the last 45 years! I had the honor of doing Margie’s makeup for her interview with Windy City Live recently. Her poise and charisma was truly radiant, as was she exceptionally kind. Blast from the Past!

Okay, so as you can see, I was on cloud 9 during this shoot! I enjoy taking on numerous styles and eras with makeup but this was exceptionally fulfilling.  Not only is Golden Tech a neat company with a fabulous Marketing team, but the day of staff and models were a dream to work with. The finished product says it all for this shoot. It was great to work with Art Director, Jeremy Bustos, and  We Create Media on this project. What great Advertising!  Below are some photos from the day, and also an ad from the campaign!
